The road to ISO certification is fraught with many pitfalls.
ISO CERTIFICATION
ISO 9001:2000 System Development
An effective system is one that is simple, matches the organization, serves its customers, and is easy to understand at all levels of the organization.
An ISO 9001-compliant system implementation touches everyone in the organization. It requires full commitment from top management down to develop, implement and perform their daily duties according to a documented quality management system (QMS). A complete quality system is a closed-loop system that follows the “Plan, Do, Check, Act” (PDCA) principles for each organizational unit and function.
The consultants at The Attivo Group have many years of experience and multi-industry domain knowledge to provide you with assistance in developing your compliant Quality Management System that is custom tailored to be streamlined and effective.
While we offer templates to guide you in documented procedure writing, we also understand the need for flexibility and that “cookie cutter” procedures are not a “one-size fits all” proposition. You’ll have a customized Quality Manual to suit your organization’s unique needs when the project is completed.
Multi-Level Organization Focus
The critical high-level ISO 9001 requirements and corresponding standard operating procedures (SOP’s) must be written with pinpoint functional relevance. Procedures must be written for different levels of the organization – from the highest SOP level to the lowest work instruction. Together, they all make up your quality system manual.
For example, a machine operator should not be expected to know 12 critical requirements that are scattered in 10 high-level SOPs. Instead, those 12 requirements should be contained within a “Workstation Procedure” which is relevant to his/her daily activities. We will help you develop procedures written in this way. |
